I love a challenge, so being tasked with designing a website for one of the world’s leading Aviation employment agencies was an exciting prospect. With offices in the United States & the United Kingdom, Oaklands Global needed a website to convey its brand on an international level.
The goal of the project was to create a thoughtful, inspiring website that supports their new job opportunities, brand values and messaging. In addition, the site needed to convey new areas of business without segmenting the current brand.

We approached the design with two requirements; it must be cutting edge, and it must stand out from the competition so we started the process by experimenting with unique layouts, finding new and interesting ways to display their content whilst bringing their brand assets to life, digitally.
The website needs to be broken up into three areas of expertise, which are aviation/aerospace, finance and executive search. I suggested instead of doing a complete rebrand for these, we just change the colour pallets for these areas.
Before the design phase began, the client & the PTP team agreed that we would move forward with Next.js. This would allow us to design with fewer limits and add more animation.
Next.js is an open-source framework that allows the team to build a fast-loading and up-to-date site with an easy-to-use content management system (CMS).
